Seattle Fusion Could Be Delayed Up To One Year
Wed, Mar 30, 2011 1:00 PM
We regret to announce that there has been an adjustment in the construction process of our highly anticipated Seattle Fusion nuclear power plant. As a result, the opening of the plant will be delayed by at least one year. We take this setback very seriously, as we are committed to providing safe, reliable energy to our customers.
The delay was caused by a change in plans regarding the position of a series of reinforcement pillars. The pillars will have to be moved to allow more room for the fusion reactor's coolant system. We understand that this delay is a setback, but we are committed to the long-term prospects of Anderson-Reed, its investors, and the success of this project.
We will keep the public informed about developments regarding Seattle Fusion Power Station, and we are committed to providing safe, clean energy to the world.
